PAC competed in the EAL at St Ives on Sunday and continued in winning form to beat all comers. Although some top multi eventers were missing they were bolstered by the presence of the Tinkler brothers and some top Senior Athletes who were weary from competing the previous day.Tyler Fayose ran the 100m but felt the effects of performing the day before and had to drop out of the 200m but he still managed to lead the relay team to victory.Ashley Allen showed what a good Athlete he is by storming clear of the field in the 3000m.
Jordan Holland produced 3 wins in the 100m, 200m and Triplejump for the u15s. Louie Tierney(LJ),Max Everest(Hurdles and 200m) Jake Berney(100m,200m,LJ) and Joel Grenfell(100m,Shot,Javelin) u13s amassed a total of 65 points between them.The combined u17 to Senior women also came out on top with fine performances from Stacy McGivern,Christina Birch,Katie Lee and Bethan Saunders all scoring well with Jenny Cade doing likewise in the field.Jessica Varley(u13) moved up to the 1500m for the first time to not only win but was a clear 18 seconds ahead of her nearest competitor.Georgia Woods who dropped down to the 800 ran a solid race to finish 2nd to go with her win in the Javelin.
