Membership of any club carries some rights and some obligations. Peterborough AC is no different. PAC will provide its members the best coaching possible within the Club’s resources and access to local, Regional and National Competition. In return, PAC expects it members to:
- Read and abide by the Code of Conduct and Track Etiquette rules at all times
- Ensure the member’s own safety and the safety of others during training and competition
- PAC enters a variety of leagues and competitions and it is essential for the future viability of the club that PAC is seen as a successful, vibrant club. This can only be achieved by its members supporting the club and competing on a regular basis.
For the parents of Junior members:-
- we do depend on the parents of junior members to get actively involved in supporting the club. It is the only way PAC has grown over the years and it is essential for the future in order to provide your children with competitive sporting opportunities.
- Parent Power - an England Athletics initiative to support parents who volunteer to help local athletics to clubs to grow..
- Can you help as a volunteer with refreshments during training sessions or at home matches? Are you a whizz with computers and can help with our website? How about PR and Media - we are always grateful for support with our press and internal communications. Do you watch your child compete at home and away - then why not qualify as an official - or as a coach?
- PAC depends on sponsorship from local companies. Does your company offer support for local clubs? If so, please contact Colin Pettit to discuss how we can jointly make an application.

What does PAC expect from its members?
Peterborough AC is run entirely by volunteers. None of our officials, coaches or volunteers get paid. Your membership fees are used to pay for the expenses incurred in running the club and ensuring the athletes are able to train, compete and progress.
England Athletics also require us to pay £5 for each member of PAC to cover your licence and insurance. In the future, you will not be able to enter national or some regional competitions or league matches until you have paid your club membership fees, registered with England Athletics and received your URN number.
** Membership fees are due on 1st January each year.**
Please do not delay payment - you will not be able to compete for PAC until fees have been paid.
