RUN...JUMP....THROW........... AND VOLUNTEER
Peterborough AC is Clubmark Accredited club and a key part of our strategy to develop athletics in the Peterborough area is to identify, develop and support our team of coaches. All of our coaches are CRB-checked and operate within the requirements of the Clubmark scheme.
Our aim is to provide appropriate training plans for each athlete but in most cases, performance tends to be enhanced when athletes train as part of a group, providing support, encouragement and team spirit. The main squads are led by experienced long established coaches aided by less experienced and younger coaches, some of whom are still active athletes within the squad.

Peterborough AC , in partnership with Vivacity, runs a dedicated 8-13 Year old athletics group on Monday evenings from 18.30 to 20.00. The group meets at Stanground College Sports Hall during the winter and at the Peterborough Athletics Arena during the summer.
The session is lead be an experienced coach and assisted by a number of newly qualified PAC coaches. Some of these coaches are still active athletes and PAC is keen to encourage their coaching development without disrupting their own training.
