Peterborough AC has been instrumental in improving the facilities for athletes in Peterborough and across Cambridgeshire. In 2009, PAC contributed towards the purchase of Photo Finish kit and Electronic Timing, which has been on used on Club fixtures, at County Championships and further afield across East Anglia.
Project 1: New Announcers Box/Photo Finish Box
Vivacity has extended the existing Club House and works were completed in August 2011. However, Vivacity’s budget did not extend to building a new Announcer’s /Photo Finish box.
Peterborough AC needs to have a new Announcer’s box as the old one has fallen apart! We also need a bigger box as this also doubles up as working base for the Photo Finish team. The Council has approved plans for Peterborough AC to build such a Box at a cost of £3000. PAC has now completed works on the Box but would appreciate any financial help available to contribute towards the cost of this facility for the benefit of local athletes and to protect the sanity and well-being of officials who have been crammed into the old box for far too long!

Project 2: New Competition Equipment
PAC has already purchased some new equipment to be used for Competitions, thereby helping our athletes to achieve their best. We need to purchase further competition and training equipment and donations can be made tax-efficiently through ourlocalgiving.com webpage
